In this lab, technicians start QC only after:
- 46.74 hours (1.95 days — almost 2 days) from case submission — when doctors use 3Shape, iTero, or Medit, because technicians must manually download scans from the scanner cloud, or
- 35.15 hours (1.46 days) when doctors submit scans to the aligner platform directly.
Our AI QC Agent reduced overall treatment plan turnaround time by 1.5–2 days. The QC now runs in 70 seconds, effectively saving ~2 full days in the workflow.
That’s not a “nice-to-have.” A 2-day reduction means either more cases with the same team or the same volume with less labor — and both show up directly on the P&L.
