Right after Google I/O — where AI agents were the central theme — Google Cloud published a feature on MovixTech in The Blueprint, their series spotlighting companies solving real industry challenges with AI.

The problem. The dental market is worth nearly $400B, and demand for dental appliances — from crowns to aligners — is booming. But manufacturers struggle to keep up: there's a serious shortage of skilled dental technicians, and data entry and quality control remain manual, time-consuming, and error-prone. In aligner manufacturing alone, every remake costs $300 — roughly 25% of retail price.
The solution. AI agents that work like expert dental technicians — automating data entry and scan QC to improve the fit of crowns, aligners, veneers, and implants. All built on Google Cloud.
The results. Two months after the QC Agent launch, Orthero — an aligner manufacturer serving 20+ countries — became our first customer. In the words of Orthero co-founder Efer Turhan, their quality control is now faster, more consistent, and scalable.
What's next. Five AI agents covering the entire dental appliance workflow — from patient scan to manufacturing — by 2029.
